MBCC depends on its members to get involved and advance our mission. MBCC has several committees, including business development, marketing, and membership where volunteers can help with planning activities and events, marketing MBCC, recruiting new members, fundraising, and more.
The Marketing committee sets the vision for and manages the overall marketing strategy of MBCC. This includes developing and implementing marketing initiatives and activities to increase awareness of MBCC and being ambassadors for MBCC. The marketing committee needs individuals with expertise in communications, email marketing, graphic design, marketing, event promotion, social media and website maintenance. The Membership Committee promotes MBCC to business owners, organizations and individuals. We need dynamic and outgoing individuals who share our desire to grow and promote MBCC. Membership Committee Responsibilities include:
- Raise awareness of MBCC
- Promote the benefits of MBCC membership
- Recruit and welcome new MBCC members
- Identify the needs, desires, and issues of members
- Attend MBCC events for current members and potential new members

The MBCC Corporate Business Development Committee reviews and oversees the development and implementation of the Chamber’s growth strategies and make recommendations to the Board with respect to implementation in such growth strategies for which the Board’s approval is required.
