Elaine Myada is the founder and CEO of Myada Communications, a marketing and communications firm. Elaine is an award-winning, results-oriented communication and marketing professional with nearly 20 years’ experience. She specializes in advertising, branding, content development, marketing, public relations, and social media.
Throughout her career, Elaine has worked with corporate, nonprofit, state/local and federal government agencies as well as small businesses. Her vast experience in communications strategy, implementation and evaluation have given her valuable insight that her clients depend on to help with their outreach efforts.
Elaine was a vital part of developing a launching a national public health campaign entitled, “Look Beneath the Surface.” Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the campaign was designed to raise awareness about human trafficking. Elaine was also instrumental in the launch of campaigns to educated underserved communities on HIV/AIDS, synthetic marijuana, underage drinking and legal marijuana.
Elaine’s communications and marketing work has been recognized with more than 50 internal agency and external PR industry awards since 2002. She recently received the 2018 Howard University Alumni Movemaker Award, which recognizes high achieving alumni who are a living testament of Howard’s vision and mission.
